I really enjoyed the movie... I'll admit I was skeptical when Changed Man said that he had to hold back tears during the movie (how could that happen with a Batman movie I thought), but they do take you on an emotional roller coaster.

Saw it, enjoyed it. Great movie, great trilogy. 2 hours and 40 minutes really flew by, always a good sign.

I liked it. Bane was really bad-ass and the scenes where Batman was stuck in that prison were really cool. Although I wasn't a fan of catless Catwoman. But, it was a great movie nonetheless, I say it's the 4th best Batman movie.

1. Batman
2. Dark Knight
3. Batman Returns
4. Dark Knight Rises

Penguin- "You gotta admit, I played this stinkin' city LIKE A HARP FROM HELL! Ha ha ha! You gotta admit, I played this stinkin' city LIKE A HARP FROM HELL! Ha ha ha!"

I don't care what people say, Batman Returns was the shit. How can anyone not like it?

We saw it Friday night. There was a local comic shop doing giveaways for bat-questions before each showing which was pretty sweet. I enjoyed it, but Banes voice had me rolling a few times. I like Hardy as an actor but he sounded like Marvin Martian. All in all after all the hype & more 'serious' take on the series or whatever, I'm still a Keaton-Burton man from way back. Those films had morose gothic majesty (&Prince) My favorite Nolan one is Batman Begins still but Rises was a solid finish to the series. I hope WBros. & DC are smart enough to put it bed for awhile & don't do a bunch of spin-offs. I've read comics for over 20 years & nobody gives a shit about Nightwing.

Batman 2 and 3 dont get the credit they deserved. 2 was dark and morbid and awesome. Jim carey as the Riddler was top notch.

Yeah, his voice was a little distracting. I thought he sounded like Sean Connery from the Jeopardy-SNL skits.

Everybody hates on Batman Returns and the complaints are usually "The movie was too dark.", "Too violent." and "Danny Devito looked like he had shit up his ass." All of that is what I LOVED about the movie! Like the scenes where the penguin bit the guy's nose or when Christopher Walken pushed Michelle Pfieffer out the window and then she got chewed up by the cats.

THAT MOVIE WAS AWESOME! Screw it, it's #2 on my batman list.

Man , you don't like Returns Jack? Batman '89 & Batman:Returns are awesome. They're Tim Burton movies not Batman movies & I think that's why I prefer them even as an avid comic reader. But to each his own..cue the Danny Elfman score goddamnit

I liked the first Batman movie, thwn the one with Jim Carey is 3... dark knight returns is 2... AND DARk knight is probably 4. Didnt like Clooney movie it was very gay. Second Batman with Penguin was unwatchable.

Dude I'm with you. Once the newness & all the bat-hype calms down & people take a second to rewatch those first two they'll be floored. If not, they have no taste in gothic noir cinema. People like buying into whats promoted at the time & the hype helps prop-up some pretty weak story telling if you ask me. "Now shut up & take my money" -Philip J. Fry

The actors in the first two originals are actually linked to better films anyway. Christopher Walken (Deer Hunter, I mean come on!wow), Pfeiffer, Keaton, Devito , hell Jack Pallance!...You kids just don't understand

Just because the dark knight was awesome, dosent make Batman begins awesome imo. It does say something that the movie was so good, it improved the trilogy.
