I thought the Dark Knight Rises was ok, it seems they made a couple of leaps to get to a spinoff movie, I thought the middle of the movie was excellent.

Just because the dark knight was awesome, dosent make Batman begins awesome imo. It does say something that the movie was so good, it improved the trilogy.

Batman Begins is awesome on its own merits.

 >>This. Agreed man.

I also liked/preferred Mark Hamil who voiced the Joker in the bad ass 90s animated series. That series, like X-Men the animated series for Marvel, were the best comic adaptations ever since. Hamil voice's him again in the Batman 360/PS3 games to. So there was some life after Luke

I refuse to even acknowledge the existence of any Batman movie before Batman Begins. Anyone who thinks any of the other movies were good is just wrong. Batman Begins is a good movie on it's own like Jobes said. It's certainly way better than any of the other one's.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I liked Bane more than the Heath Ledger Joker.

I liked The Dark Knight Rises very much. I'd put it on the same level as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight at the top as far as the trilogy is concerned (Act II is usually the most enjoyable anyway). I like Batman and Batman Returns, but Batman Forever and Batman & Robin I can completely do without.

I agree.

The comment about people complaining that the Batman with Penguin was too dark is silly. How could someone like Dark Knight but think those old ones are too dark ? I am really surpised anyone liked the one with Carey as the Riddler too. The Penguin one was probably my most hated. Devito was perfect casting, but God was it an awful film.

It's been over 10 years since I've been interested in a Batman film. After looking at these positive reviews in this thread, I should give it a try.

Michael Keaton was a very good Batman I liked his Bat suit the best I like the logo with the yellow in the background I liked the Batmobile he used better than in the present one but I digged the Bat-helicopter thingy in the Dark rises, I thought Micheal Caine added more depth and emotion to Alfred, Catwoman I just tried to put the image as her in The Princess Diaries out of my mind & she did ok

I thought the dark knight rises was really good, - I wasnt old enough to go and watch the first batman movie in 89 but was obsessed with the pictures and the hype, Batman returns was great too, not just for that catwoman screen- (the one where she rubs herself on the bed) the other 2 were shit, batman begins was excellent - watched it again yesterday, the dark night is an epic movie, the joker performance is brilliant, but so is gary oldman and Aaron Eckhart, for consistency reasons its annoying katie holmes fucked off (even though Maggie Gyllenhaal is a better actress, although not as cinematicly beautiful) and this movie was really great, a perfect end to a brilliant trilogy, bane was great, catwoman was great (although not as sexy as pfeiffer) and through out the trilogy alfred and fox (cain and freeman) were excellent, go watch the movie!!!
