Brother…

- Dallasnews.com recently spoke with Hulk Hogan about his involvement in TNA, and Hogan stated that he has figured out how to change the face of wrestling. Here is what he had to say…

"Every 10 years or so, there are moments that change the face of wrestling. There hasn't been another momentous shift recently. Showing people the reality behind it, it's so simple. I know when something's right."

The article also notes how important Panda Energy has been in TNA's history, noting the following…

" TNA might not be here today if it weren't for Panda Energy International, Inc. Carter's parents own the Dallas-based company, which provided financial backing for TNA after it got off to a rough start in 2002. The Carters and Panda Energy now own TNA."

Well, you know somethin', Boxman...

Eh, I was going to type this in Hulkspeak but I can't do it. He honestly believes wrestling fans want to see all the behind the scenes stuff. I think even those of us who sometimes talk about it online do not actually want to see it play out on TV.

But, we'll find out, I guess.

I think a separate show about the behind the scenes would be very interesting. However, mixing fake and real on your main show is a good way to kill off your fanbase.

I think this is all leading to another show. And I think Hulk is seeing Bischoff's reality shows doing very well ratings wise, and trying to ride those coat tails.

It's one thing if it's a separate show. The Avengers Blu-Ray will probably have a making of feature. But they didn't interrupt the movie to show it to you because that would have ruined the atmosphere.

Hogan's now become the guy with the great invention that he needs your money to make.

They had that second show before showing all the back stage stuff and it got cancelled so I'm not sure if that will happen.

I think it was called "Reaction" it was just kinda an extension of Impact. They tried to build up their story-Lines more. Spike had them film 10 episodes and only aired 2. Never really explained why...

Its fucking stupid again Wrestling is a Television show, do you want to flip on The Sopranos and in the middle of a scene hear the director yell cut? Tony Soprano go line? or the Pauly Walnuts stopping in the middle of a scene saying I don't agree with this scene or line

Its just an awful idea and will back fire and Hogan knew about wrestling than why does it take 3 years to figure out?

TT, I haven't commented on this yet, but I do believe it's a poor idea if Hogan believes that it will revolutionize the business. If it's used in a way similar to that awesome series of backstage segments two weeks ago involving Hogan and the top contenders to the TNA World Title, then it could generate some entertaining moments. I doubt they can be that cleaver every week with that approach. It all depends on the situation, talent involved and the writing.

If there is going to be a boom period again in pro wrestling, I highly doubt that it will be ignited by TNA regardless of whatever they decide to do.
