F4WOnline.com reports that Del Rio had a dispute with upper-level management that day and threatened to quit WWE. One company source says Del Rio was frustrated with his standing and contemplating a departure. A second source said the incident 'wasn't that big a deal' and that both sides were wrangling over a contract matter. A third source believes the spat was a combination of both accounts.

Del Rio has leverage; he has no issues with income and could return to Mexico as a heralded former WWE Superstar and son of noted luchador Dos Caras. A company employee expressed skepticism Monday night that Del Rio had legitimately suffered a concussion, noting that he was "too injured" to work the No Way Out pay-per-view event on Sunday but healthy enough to work Raw. The employee believes the concussion was a cover excuse for issues that materialized between Del Rio and officials, necessitating his removal from the title match against Sheamus.

I just don't have any interest in the guy. The only element that's keeping him relevant is Ricardo, and it's so obvious by watching his segments on WWE programming. They're pushing Ricardo while Del Rio just seems like another guy who's part anyone could play.

Huh? This guy is class and can carry the company. He has the perfect gimmick, they wouldn't get rid off him. He's a massive star in WWE and Mexico.

I like the gimmick, I like the guy, but how many times can you go to get him over and it just doesn't work. Between his injuries and just bad luck Del Rio is pushing it

I haven't been a fan. When he was in FCW, I thought he wouldn't last a year

He's just boring. he was supposed to come back after his groin injury and be more aggressive and have more intensity, i think he is less aggressive now and has no intensity at all. The character clearly isn't working well.

Why would you make him intense and angressive? That would be exactly the opposite of what they should do with the character

The guy just doesnt have "it"..Doesnt connect with the crowd.. Hes a good enough worker, has a good look, they gave him this big elaborate entrance, with Ricardo etc...But I dunno..He just falls flat. I don't know if he can be repackaged or salvaged as a top guy.

i thought he was ok when he came in and beat down Rey, called him the little chihuahua and all, I thought that was funny stuff... But it really went downhill and became repetitive as time went on.

Ive been down with Del Rio since his return.

Hasn't he tried this already twice before?Just let the guy go if hes going to complain about it all the time.

He has to complaign non stop, if he was happy to be there, people on this message board would condenm him

He looks like he is putting some of that stiff MMA style in his moves. I hope it works better for him. He is just so boring right now.
