Well they have addressed it... that first week of "changes" the Hulkster mentioned that at each open fight night 1 title (of his choosing) will be on the line... So challenging the champion by itself doesn't make it a title match.

You can call out whomever, just doesn't mean it is for the title.

Does TnA do the 30 day rule? Does any organization anymore? Im not sure. Maybe that was an old 80s NWA thing.

Yeah, I think the concept made more sense when house show results weren't readily available... and since the title was never defended on TV, the folks at the house shows thought they were seeing something special. I'm sure it's been used past the 80s, but I can't remember the last time it was mentioned...

I don't think that having the world title(s) defended only on PPVs would hurt business...

TNA does have a rule that they gave up on or just forgot where if you get disqualified as a Champion you lose your title.
