What type of hepatitis is it possible to contract from a blood transfusion? My surgeon said there is a 1 % chance of contracting hepatitis from the blood transfusion I just rec'd. Does anyone know what type of Hepatitis he means? I have been vaccinated against A and B. He said of that 1 % chance there is only a 1 % chance that the hepatitis is untreatable.
