Any thoughts on the 1001st Raw?

Honestly I was pretty bored with 90% of the show, if your going to do 3 hours there is no need to replay every fucking angle from earlier in the show or the night before seriously they reshowed the fire 6 times

CM Punk was Completely lackluster tonight, I just didn't care about his promos, or his big angle at the end of the show.

AJ I don't know if the GM thing will work honestly

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus was good but again how many times can I see this match and still care? which is what I can say for a lot of these matches tonight.

Vickie and Brodus dancing was funny......when they did it the first time in February but I liked they are starting to do things with Clay and Sandow.

Cena vs. Big show just seemed lazy and the finish again wasn't very intersting.

Overall I just didn't care about the show

I hope this isn't the sign of things to come for 3 hour RAWs. AJ as GM is the shits.

This show was fuckin' brutal.. Sheamus vs DB was a great match, one of the best TV matches I have seen this year...

But man, the constant recaps...And sooo much AJ..I never thought I could despise seeing a chick who is that hot...But its just overkill. And its not her fault, I think she plays her role really well, but fuck, enough is enough. Even Stone Cold would get tiresome if he were on 34 segments every week.

i saw one aj segment, the last one with punk, and I immediately thought, this sucks and she sucks in this role.

yeah the "you can't treat me like this I'm the WWE Champion" thing is kinda cliche now

I thought it was average but not bad. I think the fire through everything off. Havent you guys ever been at work when a fire alarm goes off. Nothing else gets fucking done that day. I assume for an actual fire its worse.

Honestly, I thought this week's RAW was a little better than last week's (which maybe I'm in the minority but I didn't like at all) but this week's was still bad. The matches were alright but the segments weren't that great for the most part, though there were some exceptions.

AJ as GM is shitty because her character seems to have changed up a bit from what I saw. She's not the same crazy little girl that she was weeks ago and that's really the only thing that made her being named GM potentially interesting. You take that away and she's just another boring authority figure.

The stuff with Daniel Bryan and the doctor was kind of amusing though I thought it would have been better if Bryan wasn't all over the show like he was. The CM Punk stuff started off alright. I was really liking the promo that he was doing at the beginning of RAW but that segment went south in a hurry when The Big Show came out. The stuff with Clay, Vickie and Sandow was god awful. And the same video packages being replayed every half an hour it seemed (particularly the HHH-Lesnar one) was annoying to the point where I got sick of it the third time around and turned the channel for a few minutes.

I get that they had a fire before the show and that may have thrown some things off, but I'm hoping that things get better over the next few weeks. There was some good stuff here and there but a lot of the show just seemed like time waster and filler and that really dragged everything as a whole down. I don't understand why they feel the need to put the same people in 20 segments per show either (and it's not just AJ) when they have a whole roster of undercard guys that they could give air time to in order to try and build them up so that they wouldn't have to rely on that handful of people to be in segment after segment after segment like they do.

I just don't get why you go to three hours just to replay the same shit over and over again. How many times did you need to see Lesnar vs. Triple H's segment from the week before?

I haven't watched a full RAW in nearly a month. I wish that I wasn't working during the 1000th show last week. Hate that I missed Punk's opening promo on Monday. I still haven't watched the first two hours from this week. The third hour wasn't great, but I did enjoy Punk on commentary and Daniel Bryan backstage with the doctor.

I like watching Punk trying to tell everyone that he's the WWE Champion and that he should be the focal point of the company. In theory, that should be the case, but he really hasn't since winning the title at Survivor Series. Cena's been in that role and it seems they are producing a storyline where Punk has had enough of Cena, Rock, Big Show and anyone else that has been booked to seem more important than him... the champion. My only problem with this is AJ. I don't mind watching her in that business suit as the GM, but they are overbooking her.... and it's been annoying for a while now. Honestly, I wish they'd just end the GM concept for good.

Oh... Tyson Kidd is awesome and deserves to be in the Top 10 as a contender for the WWE Championship after that amazing and well deserved victory over Tensai!!!

Raw being three hours had nothing to do witht he quality of the show this week, it was just poorly booked and put together. Maybe the fire did it but still it was really boring

Their product isn't good enough for a 3 hour show every week. You saw it yourself XT, they filled at least 30 minutes with repetitive video package and social media nonsense.

But how much of that is because they have all but given up on doing a brand split and therefore have weird segments like random Sheamus match every week with zero purpose? Or the 30 other randon things, I'm not a fan of three hours but Raw monday was more of the useless random segments. If your going to keep people on the Roster like JTG who you have not done anything with in 3 years then do something with them

I agree. They need to incorporate more talent into the shows instead all of the filler promo videos and constant social media plugs. That's why I enjoyed watching Tyson Kidd get some time to work.... hopefully leading to a WWE Title shot soon :) Bring back The Top 10 Rankings!!!

Of course 3 hours has something to do with it. They need time to fill so then you get pointless matches, skits and recaps. Pretty easy to see.

Thank god for the FF on the DVR... Wasn't so bad that way... The Bryan/Sheamus match was great. Not sure if it was the hot crowd, or the fact that they don't do a lot of these types of matches anymore, but everything seemed to work... They went BANANA when the steps got thrown in the ring . Never saw that happen before... Bryan had a real ass kicker vibe to him in that match. It was a little odd that they went from that to the guys-in-the-white-coats stuff, but oh well..

Yeah I'm not going to damn it to hell yet but Raw as a whole for the most part this summer has been very bland besides some stand outs and you come to expect it with WWE after Wrestlemania but I really think Brock Lesnar just killed the Summer for them
