How did the 1,001st Raw do?

- Last night's episode of WWE Raw fell back to earth as far as the ratings go. The show pulled a 3.08 rating for the three hour period, with a 3.23 rating for the two-hour period. The viewership was 4.49 million viewers for the three-hour average and 4.71 million for the two-hour period. Those numbers are down 20% from last week's rating and 22% from last week's viewership. The show did hours of 2.79 (4.06 million viewers), 3.21 (4.72 million viewers) and 3.25 (4.70 million viewers).

The show's first hour was up compared to previous three-hour specials, excepting last week's, and the numbers are good for USA as it drew a 2.1 rating in the all-important 18 – 49 demographic compared to a 0.68 for the last episode of NCIS to air in the timeslot.

The show ranked #2 overall for the night behind TNT's The Closer, and #1 among all key male demographics, with the first hour included.

Pretty big drop there...Won't be surprised if they take another dip next week, after that horrible show Monday night... The 3 hour shows are gonna be a disaster, they'll be consistently below a 3.0 soon.

It was #2 ranked show its not a horrible rating, and when you include the Olympics you should expect a drop. Not an amazing rating but I wouldn't be overily concerned

Wait it was a drop from Raw 1000? Or a drop from there regular ratings? Anyone who dosent think it would be a drop from the most heavily promoted and stacked Raw in history is a little silly.

I think the 3 hour shows will make the ratings drop simply because less people are gonna watch the first hour and it brings down the whole average. I hope they pick things up, this week's show was hard to sit through for me. It has it's moments but overall it was not a great use of 3 hours.
