Triple H recently discussed the lineage of the World Heavyweight Title and the responsibility of being the champion in the September issue of WWE Magazine. The article—which includes quotes from the Game, Daniel Bryan, and Booker T—features Triple H discussing how the World champion is the man who is blamed if a match sucks and that he had a conversation with Sheamus about the responsibility of being the champion.

"I had a conversation with Sheamus, and he told me, 'I want to be that guy,'" he said. "And I asked if he understood what that really means."

He may want to be the Guy but he ain't The Guy. Sheamus has a role in the company but sorry I don't see it. Outside John Cena I don't think anyone on this roster including CM Punk and Randy Orton could carry WWE on their own.

I respect Sheamus greatly as a wrestler and his growth over the years; however, I can't see him as "The Guy" anytime soon and some of that has to do with the belt around his waist. The company doesn't even value it as important as the other top belt. Sheamus' character is good, but I don't see it helping him get to where he wants to be ultimately. It wouldn't surprise me if Sheamus is wrestling in the mid-card again after his run is over.

He wants to be The Fella??

I like Sheamus, think hes improved a lot and is much better as a face..He's got a sorta almost cartoonish/superhero look that kids like, so i guess that works well for WWE's PG direction right now. I dont really see him ever being THE top guy though, even at a Cena level..And def not at Rock/Austin/Hogan level

I don't see it either. I see him as being a top guy but not THE guy to be carrying the company. I dunno if I see anyone on that level in WWE. As much as I like DB, I don't think he can either.

Thats the issue with WWE's roster at the moment there are tons of top guy potential but I don't think anyone has the ability to carry them
