I am asking a real question. Do you actually enjoy the GM roll and the power plays ? It's honestly one of the worst things for me in modern wrestling.

I don't think its a fair question, If your talking about just GMs than whats the difference between them and Commissioners, Presidents, Owners, etc... before them? If your asking about all Authority figurest han you have to take into account their all different

it's being done to death agreed but some of my fav skits in wrestling was when Eric Bischoff was GM, granted 98% of whoever else was GM was the shits

I'm talking about right now. The last few years they just do it for the sake of doing it. Now it's just ruining the show to me. RAW is all about AJ, who cares ?

It's just been done to death, and right now, we can't go 20 minutes without seeing AJ. Don't get me wrong, she's hot. But a wrestling show shouldn't be about the GM, it should be about wrestling and story-lines about the wrestlers. IMO, they are killing AJ's wrestling career with this GM thing, I just don't see anyone taking her as a serious Diva again.

I don't really enjoy it, no. Seems like its a bit of a crutch. I don't hate the idea of a GM, Commissioner, whathaveyou... Just that it doesn't need to be the centerpiece of the show...

Bring back the seldom referred to and never named "Championship Committee"... :)

Okay I dislike certain times they've done it but at the same time AJ Is not the whole show, and even so what is the difference between her and Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, William Regal, Mick Foley, Vince Mcmahon, Steve Austin?

The problem with the position is one they have done way too much change over with it and two that they don't seem to know what they want to do with them. However the character is a neccessary evil in 2012.

It use to be the only time an authority figure or someone from upper management was on camera was when two guys were constantly jumping in each others matches or fighting backstage, so the commish would come out and set up a final match on some big card. They weren't a superstar or considered a heel or a face because they weren't supposed to be on the damn show!

Now, its just a pointless lazy plot device and it sucks dick.

I vote no, however, an authority figure can be used if said authority figure is a small part of the show and only is used from time to time.

I cant stand her!

They should make Raw/SD 2 different brands like they did in 2002. That was much better with owners of both shows.

Why do you think the character of the GM is necessary in 2012?...

The entire GM concept should have ended, along with the Brand Extension, about 5 years ago with a President named to put closure on it. Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long have been the only GMs that I've liked.

WWE can go off the rails now because they can afford to. It's a public company now that provides cheap programing that advertisers & shoddy networks can build around. As parenthesesized before (WWF RIP)
