The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that former WWE Smackdown announcer Jonathan Coachman's contract is set to expire within the next couple of months. There has been speculation that Coachman could leave the company for a full-time job with MSG Network. credit gerweck.net

He'd probably be better off somewhere else at this point. I think he'd be making the right decision to go to MSG network. Not like I hate Coach or anything I just think the writing on the wall for em.

Why would Coach want to stay?? He has no real credibility left in the buisness after his horrendous job on Smackdown. And, to make it worse, they had their heels making fun of him on air.

Instead of making him a kick ass manager, they turn him into a joke. Maybe he can become a highly respected sports anchor at MSG.

Could anyone imagine in 5 years seeing him on Sportscenter

Yeah he's clearly in the WWE doghouse, he'd probably be punished and humilated for a year or so before ever getting any kind of chance again. If he has something else I'd leave while I could.

If he leaves, I hope his first story is titled "Rampant Racism At Titan Towers: The Micheal Hayes Saga."

Outsiders, people who come into WWE as on-air talent and have no real previous tie to the wrestling business, have a limited life span in general. Considering that he's had a tremendous run. I think his time is probably coming up at this point.

I'd take the MSG job if I was in his situation. There's more opportunties in that role than floundering in the WWE.

He used to do some college football games for foxsports and was not that bad so i wouldn't be surprised to see him take the MSG job.
