Fresh from the desk of Matt Brock from the PWI offices in beautiful NYC, here are the latest rumors from Carroll Crockett Promotions since the fallout of the Carroll Crockett Cup

  • Currently there is talk of major tension in the camp of the IYH Horsemen. Word has it while Speckie James Blanchard has in public been very supportive and happy for Jason X, he is actually rather annoyed that he is no longer the sole top horsemen.

  • There has been plenty of talk of Commissioner Vann coming out of retirement to face the numerous comments and insults sent his way from Duane. However, rumor has it that contrary to popular belief Vann has no plans of coming out of retirement no matter what Duane may say or do

  • The In-Denver’s have been having trouble in paradise in the fall out of the Carroll Crockett Cup. Travis is extremely bitter that even though he beat former friend Jason X in the first round Jason still went on to win the tournament with Puft. Meanwhile, Crystal is currently licking her wounds based on a not so solid performance in the cup. One source who has requested to remain anonymous was quoted saying “she makes a big deal about being the only woman to enter the Buckhouse Stampede and the CCP, but in reality she is the only woman stupid enough to enter these things.” Because of what the couple are dealing with they haven’t been seen to be near as affectionate or even supportive of each other lately.

  • Word from the Carroll Crockett Promotions headquarters are that President Clinton’s show The Cigar Bar was so successful in its trial run that it will become a permanent part of IYHWA World Wide Superstars of Wrestling. It has even been hinted that it could even become a separate half hour talk show as part of the current cable television package being discussed.

  • The beef between Nikhil, Dan Beltar, and Afro is continuing to hit a fever pitch. Nik was quick to turn on Dan after their elimination in the tournament. With sources saying no sooner did Nik drop Dan like a bad habit, but Dan was quick to discuss a possible alliance with Afro.

  • Carroll Crockett is set to announce sometime this week the final attendance figures for the Crockett Cup Tour. The word going around is that attendance was better this year, although not on par with the attendance from the Buckhouse Stampede tour. However the pre orders for the Crockett Cup Tour DVD and Blue Ray are significantly higher than those for the Buckhouse Stampede

  • El Santo Loco has said to still be in very good spirits despite his loss in the finals. An employee of CCP has said that even in losing Santo always finds a way to make a major impact on the promotion. When asked if there rumors of a possible Santo Loco retirement were true, the employee stated that while he has not heard anything concrete, Santo has already been promised a seat at the broadcast table.

  • “Playboy” Don Douglas who has made a major name for himself in the last year is looking to break the glass ceiling and he is planning on taking out a top star in the promotion. One member of the roster has stated that what the Playboy has planned will cause so much of a stir that the promotion would be smart to look into extra security at every show just to be safe.

  • “The Genius” TC Anderson, has be claiming for months that he knows the true whereabouts to one Barbie Richards. Many people are curious if we will ever see the full video tape or if it is a ruse just so TC can give himself more TV time.

  • Puft while enjoying his victory in the finals of Carroll Crockett Cup, but also has been rumored to have said that the victory was somewhat bittersweet due to the fact that while he had a good partner for the tournament. It wasn’t quite the same since he was the lone member of the Clinton Coalition in this years tournament.

That is all for now and as always see you at the matches!

Apter

A very good analysis. I need a new partner who is willing to match my expectations and not fail me like the last time.

I just want to go on record as saying that Jason X is tarnished. He was defeted by me. His championship needs and asterisk next to it. I want to thank Mr Apter for helping to point that out.

ALSO for the record, the asterisk should also stay that I helped by pushing for him to be paired with Puffer!! Ungrateful asshole.

First off I would like to thank you Jack not just for the nice response, but for allowing myself and PWI to work with In Your Head, and Carroll Crockett Promotions. I hope to enjoy a long partnership with your great product.

Secondly William, thank you for the kind words, and if there were rumors swirling about you from our inside sources they would’ve been presented. Although we here at the PWI offices are intrigued at the partnership you formed with Fontana and we wish you two the best!

Nik, the sky is the limit for you; however in my humble opinion your overconfidence could be a hindrance in Carroll Crockett Promotions. Time will tell however, you are an amazing talent, don’t let your ego get in the way of that.

Travis and Crystal, I never said that Jason deserves and asterisk behind his name…at the end of the day he was brought back into the tournament because the Championship Committee and Vann felt he deserved to be brought back when Puft’s original partner backed out, furthermore you should remember that Jason’s partner also backed out of the tournament as well. So, I’m sure that played a role into why he was brought back. Wouldn’t it be more productive to look what both of you did wrong in your respective matches? Travis you were and are so hung up on Jason being brought back that you allowed it to distract you in a match against former IYH World Champion Santo Loco and his partner NOS. Crystal while I respect you wanting to prove yourself against the men, your luck thus far hasn’t been very good. I would say from my almost 45 years reporting on Pro Wrestling, that it might be time to give up this idea and help Travis with his career by being his full time manager. You both might find more success if you work together and focus on a set goal.

Just to clarify, neither the Commision nor Jason's performance had any baring on Jason being made Puft's replacement partner... Names of individuals that lost in the first round, as well as several others who missed the entry cut-off date, were placed back in to the Lethal Lottery hat for a random drawing... This drawing was conducted in a live chat by Jack... While Jason made an excellent effort in the 1st Round, it was pure luck that his name was chosen...

One thing in that list that isn't a rumor is that Vann isn't manly enough to face me. It's a shame he can't pick up his walker and limp down the ring for one last fight.

If memory serves I laid out a list of demands and you failed to meet them. Typical Vann, blame everyone but yourself....

Nik, I appreciate you did not take offense to what I said to you, it is youngsters like you who are going to have to build the future of this promotion.

Vann, I apologize I reported the wrong information. I will be honest with you, I was in Puerto Rico covering WWC when the drawing evidently took place so that was my mistake, thank you for getting the correct information out there.

William and Playboy, is there any truth to the fact that you guys are possibly forming a stable? That was one of many things we have been hearing from our sources within the promotion

Crystal, what I said was not meant to be taken that way. I’m just noticing that you haven’t been successful in your quest to win the Buckhouse Stampede and the Carroll Crockett Cup. Knowing that you and Travis are husband and wife, what is more important to you, working separately to reach a common goal, or to help each other to reach that goal. My suggestion that you become his full time manager is simply because if you combine your strengths it will negate your weaknesses. Hopefully this advice does not fall on deaf ears, because the stress of the two of you competing against each other could very well be too much for your family to handle.

Duane, I have seen the list of the demands you were making, don’t you think some of them were just a little out of line? You are a heck of a competitor, why do you think those demands needed to be met in order to participate in the tournament?

Anyone find it a little funny that we have not heard from Jason X or Speckie James Blanchard since this has been posted, I think there is more truth to the story than even those of us here at the PWI offices have heard

Mr. Apter, nothing should be ruled out at this point. I can tell you that no discussions of a stable have taken place at this time, but that doesn't mean the idea isn't being considered. Obviously, I'm not looking to tip my hand.

I can also tell you that if current plans and negotiations turn out beneficial to all parties involved, it would be bigger than simply forming or stable or, quite frankly, anything we've yet to see in CCP. Of course, I'm not going to compromise my own standing or security just to make it happen.

Only time will tell.

...and me being currently in negotiations about renewing my contract, looks like I just got a little leverage.

None whatsoever, by taking advice from the much older and veteran members I can become bigger, better and maybe one day be the center of everything, however until then I will do my best to make sure all my talent exposed for the right reasons.

Apter can say whatever the hell he wants. He has no proof of any tension between Jason Jam and myself. Jason and I will be at The Ritz Carlton in Boston on Saturday. All females between the ages of 20 and 35.... brunette..... blond..... redheads..... are more than welcome to be in our presence.
