Attendance: Sold Out

Opening match saw OldSchool wrestle William Morey to a 20 min time limit draw that had the crowd amped up from the time the match started.

The second match featured “Playboy” Don Douglas defeated IYHWA Television Champion Taso The Greek in a non-title match after Playboy swiped Taso’s brass knuckles and hit him with them while the referee was laid out.

The next match saw Nikhil Vs. Dan Beltar wrestle to a double count-out in a bloody match up that feature action all over ringside and in the crowd.

After intermission Duane came out and cut a promo on Vann which created a riot like atmosphere in the arena to the point that the ring was covered in cups, wrappers, and other types of garbage. Duane also made a point to make fun of the Celtics, Red Sox, and the way people from Boston talk.

The fourth match of the night saw Jason X defeat TravisInDenver, when Crystal ran down ringside to hand Travis something to help him with the match but distracted him by accident and when he turned around was planted with a big spinebuster.

The next match featured A Changed Man losing to Puft in 15 min via submission to the Asiatic Spike

The main event of IYHWA United States Champion Speckie James Blanchard wrestling El Santo Loco to a 45 min time limit draw. That was an easy 5 star match.

Apter

Word going into this week is that President Jack E. Jones and Owner/Promoter Carroll Crockett have seriously considered having a contract drawn up to be signed by both Vann and Duane that if Vann wants to, he is allowed to come out of retirement and face Duane with a gag order being placed on Duane should Vann come out the victor. This way Vann can confront Duane and not be persecuted by Duane or any of his associates for being a member of the office. There has also been talk of having a mystery referee officiate the match or making it a lumberjack match just to keep the match fair.

“Playboy” Don Douglas looked so strong in his matches this weekend, especially in his non-title win over TV Champion Taso The Greek that the Championship Committee are considering giving him a shot at the TV title in the very near future. Taso will for sure be in for the match of his title reign because many people say that Playboy might have the edge on him when it comes to the mental aspect of the sport.

The word coming from those close to Travis and Crystal is that Travis is at wits end with Crystal trying to help him win his match against Jason in Boston this weekend. Those in the audience saw that Crystal attempted to hand Travis something only for him to argue with her that he had the match won. When Travis finally relented he was met with a Spinebuster and lost the match. Our sources have stated that it won’t be long before the two end up in the ring against each other, and it won’t be anyone’s fault but their own.

Nikhil showed a different side of himself this past weekend with a very bloody match against Dan Beltar. Nik, who is already being touted as the best prospect in the promotion showed that he is more than just a good talker and good technician, but one of heck of a brawler when it is called for. Many in the locker room are praising the young man for work ethic and talent, and are saying that he could break through to the main event the way many thought Duane would.

There is talk about having Speckie James Blanchard and El Santo Loco wrestling in a 60 minute iron man match based on their time limit draw this weekend. This reporter looks forward to seeing this rumored match

I'm not going to lose my United States Heavyweight Championship, and Apter, your "sources" might be valid. James J and I have been in close negotiations with the IYHWA Championship Committee about a possible title match. What match that is...... well, you're going to have to do more digging to find out!!!
