SHINYA HASHIMOTO Best of...

01- Shinya Hashimoto & Masahiro Chono vs. Jushin Liger & Chris Benoit [10-25-93]
02- Shinya Hashimoto vs Jushin Liger [4-22-94]
03- Shinya Hashimoto vs. Hiroshi Hase [12-13-94]
04- Shinya Hashimoto vs. Keiji Mutoh [8-15-95]
05- Shinya Hashimoto vs. Riki Choshu [G-1 : 8-2-95]
06- Shinya Hashimoto vs. Genichiro Tenryu [G1 : 8-1-96]

A best of I burned a long time ago, found it in my pile of dvds. All excellent, hard-hitting, strong style, great executuion, great psychology, classic match-ups. I liked his match with tenryu the best because when Hashimoto acted “disrespectful”, Tenryu would punch him with a closed fist, causing the fans to react, the referee to jump in, and the match to get real good heat.

PWT Top 100 Wrestlers of All Time 2.0 (100-096)

096 - 2005/5/22 John Cena vs. JBL (I Quit Match)
097 - 2006/5/13 Homicide vs. Necro Butcher (ROH)
098 - 1976/12/09 Billy Robinson vs. Abdullah The Butcher
099 - 1990/12/26 Lou Thesz vs. Masahiro Chono
100- 1977/08/25 Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Mil Mascaras
Special Treat - 1995/10/10 Dynamite Kid / Kuniaki Kobayashi / Dos Caras vs. Tiger Mask / Great Sasuke / Mil Mascaras

I liked John Cena's entrance, he had a DJ scratching on his music as he rolled out on a big semi-truck, Cena had the spinner belt too, and JBL is the heel, it's gotta be a good match. Cena bleeds buckets. Necro vs Homicide is sheer chaos as chairs pile up inside the ring. Billy Robinson gets on the arena mic after a grueling bloody brawl with Abdullah the Butcher and says "I'll fight The Butcher, anyplace, anytime, for no money!" Ah, the good old days. Lou Thesz has his last match with Masahiro Chono. Jumbo vs Mil Mascaras is great old school wrestling, All Japan, just good solid hold-for-hold contest. Last match for Dynamite Kid, almost positive this is his final match.

Theory of Evolution 12/2/06

Josh Prohibition vs. M-Dogg 20
Jason Bane vs. Shawn Blaze
The Canadian Superstars vs. Flip Kendrick & Sean Tyler vs. Pretty in Pink vs. Johnny Gargano & Starless
Billy Taylor vs. Chris Kole
----------------------------------------

Ive watched up to here. It's pretty good indy wrestling with some name talent. Gargano must have been just starting out. Josh Ambercrombie is on this in the tag team 4 way, I see Flip Kendrick started a while back, I am seeing him for ther first time this week in Chikara KOT2010. What the hell si wrong with M-Dogg 20's hair, and why is he on every indy dvd I pop in the player these days (Chikara KOT2010~!)

-----------------------------

Christopher Daniels vs. Marion Fontaine
JT Lightning vs. Zach Gowen
Samoa Joe vs. Raymond Rowe
Faith in Nothing vs. Cut Throat Crew
------------------------------------

I still have 4 more matches to watch. The Cut Throat Crew are a couple of pirates and one of them is named Rufio. Good stuff.
--------------------------------

finished this a couple days ago... not worth finishing. I liked the opening matches more then Samoa Joe's match, more then Daniels match, more then Zach Gowen's match... I'm just happy to have watched it and put this dvd on my "watched" list, and I also am happy to have seen Josh Ambercrombie again after a long time, and that's about it.

I got this dvd a LONG LONG time ago and watched it finally. It came with a t-shirt which I still have.

AJ Styles vs Teddy Hart was pretty good, although I may need to re-watch it, it didn't stick with me, but the one match that truly did was Sabu vs Saturn. You would think this was ECW 1996. They beat the living piss and shit out of each other. One of the better matches I have seen in a while. Good to see the Umaga again.

Manami Toyota 5 star matches... Trilogy Tag Team Matches

5 Star Match (1992) with Toshiyo Yamada vs. Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki on November 26
5 Star Match (1993) with Toshiyo Yamada vs. Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki on April 11
5 Star Match (1993) with Toshiyo Yamada vs. Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki on December 6

Some pretty amazing stuff by every one, and at such a high rate of speed, emotions running very high, a hot crowd every time out, and really well booked. There is suspense and dram,a in these matches mixed with buts and pain, and great wrestling.
Special: JWP 7/31/95

Aja Kong/Kyoko Inoue/Takako Inoue/Sakie Hasegawa vs. Dynamite Kansai/Mayumi Ozaki/Cuty Suzuki/Hikari Fukuoka

---------------------------------------------

This match is pretty awesome, the stiff strikes of Aja Kong, the hseer aeesomeness of Aja Kong, is reason enough to watch.

I watched two short films:

Icons of Wrestling: Gorgeous George

I liked this, there were a couple of matches, lots of pictures, and his valet talks about him.

--------------------------

The Bruiser Brody Shoot

I am curious who filmed this and who was asking the questions. If anyone knows plz post here or PM me.

The Best of Stan Hansen

93-2-28 Stan Hansen vs. Toshiaki Kawada
93-4-21 Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Stan Hansen
93-7-29 Stan Hansen vs. Kenta Kobashi

Stan Hansen lariats the shit out of everyone. I love it when he lariats someone and then goes flying out of the ring at the same time. All of these matches are simply classics. All pretty much 4 3/4 star matches.

Best of Tully Blanchard

Tully Blanchard & Gino Hernandez vs The Grapplers (Southwest Tag Team Titles) 3-21-83
Tully Blanchard vs Ricky Steamboat (NWA TV Title 11-22-84)
Tully Blanchard vs Magnum TA (US Title - I Quit Cage Match - 11-28-85)
Tully Blanchard vs Ronnie Garvin (Taped Fist Match 7-26-86)
Tully Blanchard vs Dusty Rhodes (NWA TV Title - 1st Blood Match 11-27-86)
The Brainbusters vs. The Hart Foundation (Summerslam '89)

--------

Hell of a line-up. I have seen the Summerslam match but this was the first time I'd seen everything else, and to say these matches were good, entertaining, or fucking incredible would be an understatement. Tully was born to play the prick. The I Quit cage Match is awesome. Is Dusty queer? JJ Dillon gets props for being such a great manager. The match with Gino vs The Grapplers was booked so well and everyone from the workers to the referee were perfect in relaying the story of the match and the aftermath.

Imagine how awesome the WWE would be if they allowed him to do promos like this when he finally debuts.
