do you guys they will acknowledge ron simmons as the real first african american world champ .yeah i know guys i doubt it to but he was

oh good ;vince has been better about honouring history lately but it's been hit or miss. you know how he is about things that didn't happen at his house sometimes and i just want simmons to get his due

I've noticed, especially online, they are just kinda saying the things that happened in WCW were just part of WWE history.

when i say it's weird what i mean is it's strange that they would adapt the history rather then ust mention it. ggood thing the wrestling hunch backs never happened . i doubt vince would to take the blame for that too

WWE made references too it dating back to the Summer of 2001 when WCW finally closed and they accepted though title reigns

On WWE.com they acknowledge his reign as the first African-American World Champion in the Title History section. I noticed too that the WWE Championship has never been held by a "full" Black wrestler. The Rock is the closest.

To be fair how many Black Wrestlers have been good enoguh to carry it?

there have been a number over the years that could have had a reign . bad news allen jyd butch reed. . if you go back before my time throw in ernie ladd and bobo brazil from what i can tell

Of course they will acknowledge it, thats the only reason hes being put in the Hall of Fame in the first place.

I NOTICED that to but in fairness they only had so much time for the spot p.s i could be wrong but i think it was the wcw championship by then

It is a two minute promo video, if it was a DVD documentry I can understand the point because in Mr. Perfect's they basically skipped over everything after his Match with Bret Hart at Summerslam 1991 which was like 5 years of activity
