- NXT authority figure William Regal fired both Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks on this week's NXT episode (watch here) after pitting the perennial troublemakers against each other in a match in which their jobs was at stake.

Hawkins addressed his termination on Twitter, writing, "Future Endeavored. Anybody hiring a ridiculously good looking pro wrestler with exceptional hair? Damn you #NXT."

This week's episode of NXT also features Johnny Curtis vs. Percy Watson and Kaitlyn vs. Maxine.

"Finishing out our contractual obligations on the Smackdown Euro Tour. Considering shaving my head when this is all over & starting fresh."

A fan asked if Reks was really leaving WWE and he replied with the following, mentioning John Laurinaitis: "Unless by some miracle, @WWERawGm decides otherwise..."

WWE star Curt Hawkins, who was fired on NXT by William Regal earlier this week, continues to play up the storyline on Twitter. Hawkins says he's going to the independents to work with Kevin Steen and Sami Callihan. He wrote:

"I'm so fired... I'm gonna kill @KILLSTEENKILL & @samicallihan on the indys. #NXT sucks
