It was reported around WrestleMania 28 that WWE had agreed to send one of their talents to TNA, most likely for a DVD appearance, in exchange for TNA allowing Ric Flair to appear at the Hall of Fame ceremony. Word came out later that the talent WWE would be sending likely had a history with Ric Flair, Sting and Hulk Hogan.

We don’t have a full report from her appearance yet but TNA President Dixie Carter appeared on Busted Open Radio earlier this week and talked about how it was an easy decision to allow Flair’s Hall of Fame appearance.

As noted earlier, Dixie said that in the next few months, we would see something come out of her allowing Flair to go. She then said that is all she will say and probably said too much already.

Dixie was also asked why TNA pay-per-view buys were in the 10,000′s when they get around 1 million people watching Impact per week. She said that is not true.

I honestly don't care because I believe the 7,000 number is probably in the ballpark just based on Internet buzz and who they as fans go after I'm just saying if I'm a business and I have people reporting that we aren't making a profit and are doing terrible sales numbers i'd go out of my way to try and dispute that fact.

Honestly, Dixie is not going to admit if the buy-rates are low. Im just wondering where the websites get ther einformation from regarding the buy-rates. A private company means private, they reveal nothing unless someone is leaking information in which they will find the culprit.

The difference is most of WWE's numbers are already publically released to begin with, also a lot WWE stories end up being total horse shit for example anyone remember Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble earlier this year? How about Jericho? Both were said to have been in the running yet it didn't happen. Then when you combine stories with clearly no basis that constantly get posted by some sites like Daniel Bryan was purposely being buried. I'm sure there are TNA stories that get made up but WWE it seems almost every week there are 4 or 5 stories that never end up being true

"It was the easiest decision in the world! Why would I ever consider keeping a man who is so deserving of that second award from being recognized? I am not completely selfless - and there may be something coming up here pretty soon that might get people's eyebrows raised - but regardless of anything, I would never have stopped Ric from receiving an award that is so deserved."
