Mickie James was asked by a Twitter user the difference between an icon and a legend and responded, "A Legend is an Icon of the past... I am an Icon! I aspire 2 be a Legend!"

Between WWE and TNA, James is an eight-time champion, and is also the only female to hold the WWE Women's, WWE Divas and TNA Women's Knockout Championship in history.

I disagree, its one thing when your Sting or Hogan or Piper caling yourself that but someone who's working for the distance second wrestling promotion and isn't even considered the best wrestler of her time period claiming she is an Icon is basically giving her no reason to even attempt to get better

Mickie officially became an icon during her feud with Trish Stratus.... Best storyline that company has had in well over a decade. Mickie James is awesome.

no offense to everyone just my opinion . she's destined to be more of a footnote than an icon but whatever floats your boat. she's never been anything in my eyes sorry. if you have to call yourself an icon you aint one . if she was being cute or ironic i take it back.

jack don't take offense to my comments , i don't mean you i'm pretty sure you said someone else called you an icon before your started using it. if that's notthe case i still thinkit's all in fun with you and once again to the mj fans; enjoy personal taste is personal taste, i've more of a tessmocker fan when comes to tna lately
