“The 50 Greatest Finishing Moves in WWE History” has officially been added to the upcoming Home Video schedule.

This countdown style feature is set for release on August 21st to the United States, following the Money in the Bank 2012 DVD release one week prior.

It’s confirmed that it will be produced as 3-Disc DVD and 2-Disc Blu-ray sets.

We can also reveal the official synopsis as shown below.

The 50 Greatest Finishing Moves in WWE History presents the most amazing, devastating and bone crunching signature moves in this countdown-style production guaranteed to stir up controversy and banter among the WWE Universe.

From Sweet Chin Music to the Rock Bottom, Attitude Adjustment and everything in between, these are the moves guaranteed to bring the masses to their feet and to leave the unfortunate recipient lying on the mat for the inevitable three count.

Which moves made the cut, and what is the greatest finishing move in the history of WWE. This 3-Disc DVD is great for the opinionated WWE history buffs who love to debate which Superstar’s moves are the greatest.

You go ape shit over TNA doing pretty much anything. But, act like no one should ever care about anything else.

When I see a full listing of the content, I'll make sure to post it. I was wondering the same thing. I don't see any reason they wouldn't include them though.

When you go apeshit over a worked list that they start the DVD off by saying this will be a controversial list than yeah thats kinda laughably stupid oh my god these guys in tights and stretchy pants aren't ranked in my arm chair booking idea of where they belong. Oh no Kurt Angle is only 34 and Mick Foley is ahead of him! Thats bullshit! Its one thing to have a discussion but when people got legit upset over a worked list than thats when you need to take a step back and ask yourself why are you even upset

Nobody cared about Foley being over Kurt Angle, you know that. We're all wrestling fans. WWE is the main wrestling company. They put out a list that is clearly biased and just asinine, why wouldn't people ridicule it ? Why should we just go "eh just buy it it's WWE, I don't care if it sucks and they don't care about it, I just want to buy WWE." What other form of entertainment are you a fan of that you just want crappy products from ? Odd attitude.

Sweet Chin Music has to be number one. No finisher has been ripped off more than that one. Plus when Shawn hits a good one it's like fine art.

Why was it crappy again because they put out a list that you didnt agree with. Its a FUCKING WORK! That dvd means as much as The greatest Steel Cage matches. Greatest to whom? Its some production jackoff's list that he was either given or made up. It was produced not to make a serious list but to make money. Clearly they did it to start a dicussion about your own list and if I remeber correctly the video ends with Todd Grisham saying did your list meet our list? Or did you have one of your own. Its just a list. There like the AW Wrestling Radio Awards they don't mean anything.

its like this list 50 greatest Finishing moves to whom? What makes a Sharpshooter a better finisher than the Five Star Frog Splash?

The Stone Cold Stunner should be number one and I don't feel like explaining why.

I think Jonny Ace inovated the Stone Cold Stunner. I think it was like Ace Crusher version 2 in AJPW.

My Top Five from the E

1. Randy Savage Elbow (It's so damn graceful.)
2. Power & Glory's Power-Plex (Beyond Awesome)
3. Stone Cold Stunner (Could come at anytime)
4. Sweet Chin Music (Chris Adams made it look graceful.... Shawn made it look legendary)
5. Ravishing Rick Rude's Rude Awakening (Doesn't get enough props... it always looked legit)

Some of these look like Cutters from Ace, and some stunners. Also a Mike Barton shout out in there :)

#disappointed

Jake was close to being on the list, but hey, can't have 'em all there.

Road Warriors are more NWA to me despite them being in the E for some years.

DDP popularised the move into the fashion of it being hit out of nowhere
