A bill has passed in the House Appropriations Committee that will essentially ban the US Military from sponsoring sporting events, including “wrestling”. The bill now has to go before the House of Representatives, and if it passes there, it will then go onto the Senate.

The National Guard has been one of WWE’s top sponsors. A similar bill failed to get enough votes back in 2011. This bill would cover all sporting events including NASCAR, Ultimate Fighting, Fishing, & wrestling.

Unless theres more to this bill, its kind of rediculous. I dont even care about it for the WWE. Just the general idea of it.

I think it is more aimed at NASCAR, they just tacked on the other stuff so it wasn't as blatant.

I'm pretty worried. If the military can't advertise during sports how will they convince poor people to go off and die for them. The whole country will be overtaken by terrorism, the gays will get married, and our lord and savior Jesus Christ will rain blood down upon the hopeless wasteland that was once our great country. Come on, Bill. Think before you speak.

Im confused, so your saying your not a Christian Team Ninja? You should try and put more references in every post that has nothing to do with it, so we can more clearly see your point. I also up to this point thought you were a republican. So again please post non republican non christian things in wrestling posts more often, so we can more clearly see what your about. Right now your just to vague.

Its pretty original for someone your age to be anti establishment. I appluad you for being the first of your kind. You truly are a rebel we can all get behind.

Ok, a couple things. One only an idiot would not be able to tell that I was joking around. Two I thought I was being pretty tame. If I said what I really thought about this situation I know it would make people mad at me. And three, Terry Taylor do you just have to be a huge cunt about everything?

The military linked to sports events don't have a good historical precedence.
