Dixie Carter just tweeted the following: "On a plane headed to Dallas for the big PPV this weekend. Very excited @Christian4Peeps is joinin us for the night. He's one of my favorites".

Obviously, she could be intimating that Christian will be the first member of the Hall of Fame. Given that he is a WWE contracted talent, it wouldn't surprise me that Christian appearing on Sunday is the payback for TNA allowing Ric Flair to appear at the WWE Hall Of Fame. credit pwinsider

If TNA are going to induct Christian into the TNA Hall of Fame it'll make them look stupid
They should look to their own stars he is a WWE guy & seen as TNA has erased the NWA title history what's the point technically he was never the IMPACT Heavweight champion.
whatever about Russo Dixie should have followed him out the door aswell.

This is pathetic and desperate. Does TNA think just because Christian shows up that its going to mean anything? No matter what they do with him they'll come off pathetic

really I'm trolling or being honest? If he shows up TNA there going to make a huge deal about getting a WWE wrestler to show up on their show which will make TNA look like their company isn't on the level of WWE which while true you shouldn't throw in people faces. If they give Christian the Hall of Fame its just giving WWE guy credit, and again their putting over a guy no matter what they do who DECIDED to leave. People aren't making the point that christian left TNA not TNA let Christian go

News like this should get fans engaged as to what will happen at the show. TNA should have plugged the hell out of this.

I agree with XT. TNA has been getting a lot better recently, they need to stay away from ANY association and just focus on their own stuff

yeah engaged into what a FUCKING WWE wrestler will be doing at a TNA Show. This a promotion that can't get people to care about its own product so your basically saying they should use a midcarder in the WWE who choose to ditch them to go back to the WWE to get a quick boost in a buyrate? Shouldn't that tell you there is a larger problem with the product your putting over?

I don't like the idea either. They will make a big deal about a WWE midcarder who will be made to look bigger than the entire TNA roster then goes back to WWE as a midcarder again. If anything it puts WWE over.

He was a main eventer in TNA, so they will treat him as one. In fact he was the first guy to make the big jump to TNA from WWE. He has a important part in there history no matter what his WWE status is. But yeah they should have plugged this, I guess for Ric Flair appearing at the HOF they allowed Christian to come on this PPV.

So ? Why bring attention to the fact a WWE mid carder is a bigger deal than your whole roster ? I actually thought he sucked in TNA.

You dont know what they are doing with him. He might be inducting someone. I enjoyed him in TNA, much more then I enjoyed him in his 2nd WWE run.

I thought Christian was great in TNA. He was great on the mic and had killer matches on a monthly basis. His feud with Abyss was awesome. I look at Christian appearing at Slammiversary as he's apart of their history and Slammiversary is celebrating TNA's past ten years. He's a two-time TNA-NWA champ, so to me, it'd be like Jerry Lynn, Rhino, or Jay Lethal appearing at the show.

I thought he stunk, and was always saying on IYH this might be why he never got the shot in WWE. When he went back to WWE I thought he was way better again. A Christian appearance for a Ric Flair appearance is a terrible trade. Why even have him there and make a big deal about having a WWE guy on your show ? He's just going back to WWE. Showcase your own guys.

To update an earlier report, the Impact Wrestling website is now running a banner ad on the main page promoting Dixie Carter's tweet about Christian. The image features Christian in his "Christian Cage" attire from his time in TNA, and the quoted tweet is typed over it. There is no confirmation that Christian will appear on screen in any way, but he will be in the Dallas/Arlington, Texas area this weekend.

What about Scott Hall 2002
Raven 2003
and the countless other ex WWE guys that TNA hired in the early days all before Christian

In any case it's not as if it was like when Lex Luger jumped to WCW when he was still in WWE

But for TNA Christian was part of there history and did a lot within the company, so obviously at first glance Flair for Christian is not a good swap but hes the only one I can think off in WWE who was in TNA and had history. I mean his first world title win was in TNA.

Changed Man: What I mean jump is that at the time TNA were on PPV and had a TV deal with Spike back in 03 etc they were just on the weekly PPV.
