- Similar to last night's Vader appearance, WWE is looking to feature more legends on RAW in the weeks leading up to the 1,000th episode on July 23rd.

As long as its fun legends, Vader was awesome for the night but I have no interest in seeing Sgt. Slaughter or someone who is always around

My friend and I were chatting about that on Facebook after RAW last night. I'm all in for it, but I'd really like to see more special legends' shows on RAW like they did a few years ago.

Ive said it a million times

I go to a indy show and guys like Brutus Beefcakes, Vader, Jannety, Matt Hardy, etc etc... Demolition, etc. I dont get how thw WWE doesnt use their legends enough. If they dont look bad, use em even for a cheap pop.

I loved surprises as a kid in wrestling and undont see that in this monopolized wrestling business.

well there are reasons soe of though people don't get use. Matt Hardy? Went bat shit crazy and had 3 DUI's in a week, Beefcake is a Hogan friend, isn't exactly a huge name, and clearly on Roids last picture I saw, Jannetty they've tried to bring back multiple times throughout the years he just does stupid shit and it causes him his job, Demolition and vader are past the age they have any real business performing on a consistant basis

I dont think Taso is suggesting having them out there each week... just plug them in more often than the Rumble and a random Raw

Some of them like i said there are realistic reasons Vader and Demolition they have to be pushing 60, Vader was fun and all but he doesn't have a purpose of being around.

I cant believe Booker T's favorite moment was his match with Buff Bagwell. I know it was the 1st time the WCW title was on WWE programming, but the match was horrible.

i have no clue why Booker picked that match , Maybe cause it was he's first match on Raw at the time.

Booker T vs. Buff Bagwell has to be one of the worst matches in Raw history. I remeber watching it back a couple of months ago to see if it was as bad I Thought it was at the time but Buff was terrible and booker wasn't any better and the crowd could have caredless

That is internet bullshit... The match was fine, but the crowd didn't care for it...

Its not that great of a match go back and watch it, it was slow, and boring. I think the crowd didn't help and either did the commentators but still the match by itself for this huge hype of being the first WCW match went and fell flat on his face

It probably is one of the worst ever though if you look beyond just the match. It pretty much killed WCW as being viable in the eyes of the WWE I think, and just the whole collection looked bad in my opinion

That is the excuse they use... but what Im saying is if you just watch the match, it isn't horrible.

Here's the thing, good match or bad match putting all the blame on Bagwell is crazy. Think of the pressure he was under. He was never a main event guy in WCW. Now all of sudden he has to represent the entire history and future of WCW in the main event of Raw. I don't know how many people other than Flair or Sting even belonged in that position to begin with. Not to mention Bagwell already had heat coming into the company. I don't anyone who would have had a great match under those kind of conditions.

That Buff-Booker match gets so much hate, its ridiculous. The crowd didnt get into it, but it was in Tacoma,WA, not exactly a WCW hotbed. And from a TV viewer's perspective, they throw Arn out there on color, whom to the best of my knowledge had never really done any commentary. It just kinda fell flat. But some would have us believe its the worst match in history./

I've mentioned this before, but I was there live in Tacoma that night. After the opening segment with Austin/Angle/McMahon, there was a bunch of pretty lame stuff on the show that killed the crowd way before the main event. This included a bunch of bad segments backstage (including the whole Tori Wilson seduction debut) and a God awful Taker/A-Train match... All that - combined with the fact that it took close 30 minutes to set-up the ring so it was WCW ready - meant that the match never had a chance...
