All depends on What their plans are for Cena after Monday, it'll be interesting but it would be shocking if he's pushed back in

If the guy's gonna main event every PPV without the title anyway, Then you should just put the title on him.

Cena vs. Lesnar and Rock vs. Cena should have cloesd both shows the rest of the one's he's closed with probably not besides maybe Kane but lets be honest him closing the show the past couple of months I think more has to do with the poor feuds CM Punk and Sheamus have been in. Now The Triple Threat is more interesting but did anyone see Jericho vs. CM Punk closing the show? or Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan?

Who cares, then put the title on him. It just seems odd that the guy main eventing every show isn't the champion. If they want Cena as the top guy, then just put the title on him. I think he should have had the title vs Rock at Mania too.

I honesty wouldn't care but it wouldn't be me complaining that Cena always has the title either. Then again why have Cena vs. Rock for the title when it isn't needed.

Because it's the main event of the show. I hate this stuff about a match being so big it doesn't need the title. Then the title needs the match. Hogan vs Andre really didn't need the title, but it wouldn't have made any sense if in the middle of the show Greg Valentine defended the title vs Billy Jack Haynes then Hogan vs Andre main evented the show simply because they are bigger stars.

I think to casual fans it just makes sense that the top match is for the top title. I think it would have added to the match anyway. Rock coming back to get the title from the current champ makes more sense than him coming and challenging some guy who isn't even the top guy in the company.

Well i'll pitch to you this way, what if you Cena wins the title back at some point before Wrestlemania and now you can build up Rock vs. Cena for the WWE Championship and you can build up the fact that Rock beat Cena last year and now its for the title. Adding a new element to the match.

Personally I don't really care either way because I've been saying for months I don't think Punk can carry the Championship and Sheamus has had some bad luck with timing and injuries

Then they should not have the title.

Sheamus I disagree he carries the Smackdown title Punk I would take the title off him and place it on Daniel Bryan, Show, Kane, or Cena your not getting an arguement there

Do you think they thought if Rock won the strap & left quick it would hurt the title? Can you hurt the WWE/World titles more than they already have been? They've down played the belts so bad over the past decade. Relegating it as 'just a prop' is absurd. I don't know if that was an IWC or wwe deal who started that phrasing but its bullshit. If you want more legitimacy & people to care, make the belt mean something again. Cena v. Rock at Mania should've been for both titles, Rock wins, & unified the championships. Would've been huge & showed one true championship as it should be. Aside from that wishful Mania thinking, the belts need unified period. Come on E I hate henpeckn ya

I don't think Rock should have won, title or no title. But, you got 2 titles anyway. Would have been pretty awesome heel move to take the title off to Hollywood for a few months,

THen you have fans saying he's hurting the value of the title. Its a double edge sword. I think Rock vs. Cena didn't need the title but closed to avoid Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 25 situation where they killed the crowd

The title has been devalued so much that I really don't care who has it at this point, but logically, Cena should be the champion since he's been main eventing WWE programming for virtually the entire year.

Cena has not main evented for the past year there were plenty of pay per views that were closed by CM Punk

There have been 3 PPVs in the past year where Cena has not been in the last match on the card. (one he was the Champion but CM Punk closed the show with Triple H and another one was the Rumble match)

The Rock came back and fought Cena, because Cena talked alot of shit about him while he was gone. You dont need the title in that match to make it great. Its about as basic as a wrestling storyline as you can get. Wasnt this one of there biggest grossing Wrestlemanias of all times? With all your talk about "devaluing titles" and "props", apparently they know what there doing. Or did with that angle.

I don't like the WWE Championship presented as a secondary attraction, which it has been for virtually the entire year. That's ALL on the E.

That need to put a title on the guy that closes 70%+ of the ppvs and is clearly the top attraction. I have always said on here that I liked Cena. I still think they need to refresh him a bit. Maybe he can get a title back and use that to kick off some better storylines or something.

.......so were complaining that CM Punk closed the show with Cena now. He still closed the show and again if CM punk's character had legs like I said it didn't back in FUCKING JULY when this all started he probably would have closed more shows

Since Punk has had the title, he has only headlined 1 PPV (TLC) that's it. So if Punk isn't drawing, why not just take the title off of him? He must be actually drawing money, or he's selling a shitload of merchandise.
