According to Pwinsider.com, John Laurinaitis will still be appearing at all WWE live events he is currently advertised. He is currently booked in handicap matches against John Cena, and the angle is that the Board of Directors has ruled that Laurinaitis must appear and wrestle, despite being fired.

I'm not going to miss him as much as others here. Although I enjoyed some of his promos during the Cena stuff, some of his antics were just annoying and overdone to me as the character was presented more frequently during the course of a program. I'd rather see Teddy as the GM.

Well he's still advertised for some house show as the assistant to the board of directors or some shit. I have a feeling we're gonna see Johnny as Vince's stooge soon.

I don't see how that's going to work, especially since Vince isn't a heel and regular on the show anymore. Maybe the E can bring back The Highlanders and have Ace carry their Scottish flag.

Well as we saw Vince = Ratings. I just have a sneaking suspicion we are gonna see Vince in a regular role again. The upside is if Vince is ringside, at least he's not telling Cole what to say... :D

I like the Mr. McMahon character, but I'd rather see both brands continue without a GM/Authority figure every week on both shows. The concept is good, but man, it has been done so much. President Tunney would be outraged over this hands-on approach to management every week :)

I'd like to think he's gone for good but I won't hold my breath... I can't think of anyone more talentless to ever get as much TV time as he did...

That was the point......

They openly mocked him many times for being a loser whether it be Punk, or announcers, or Triple H and Cena. Thats the point of the character he was that guy who we all well most of us anyway have worked with who kisses ass and gets where he is because he just happens to kiss up to the right people

I don't think that's what Vann meant when he stated "talentless."

He's presented to be talentless thats the point, you can't say he's talentless when clearly WWE was booking him to be that way. Do you really think he constantly flubbed his words? He was booked to be dry, boring, and obnxious.

Hence the reason you understand him?

He's talentless on screen... Whether they booked him as such because of this apparent "strength" is besides the point... And I find it funny that anyone would think his line flubs were scripted. His inability to cut a promo hasn't changed his entire career...

John Cena vs. Big Show and John Laurinaitis will main event all of this weekend's RAW live events - Bethlehem, PA, Wheeling, WV and Huntington, WV. The storyline reason that Laurinaitis is working the shows despite being fired is because the Board of Directors are making him fulfill his contract obligations.

Dude it was clearly done on purpose, I mean come on be realistic no one gets that much screen time and is that inept. Also I think he was clearly an effective character or he wouldn't have heat

I really think you're over estimating the acting skills of Laurinaitis, and also over estimating WWE 's writing team. You really think his line flubbing was scripted? Sorry, he's not that good of an actor and WWE's writing team isn't that smart. They can fuck up a softball of an angle, butyou think they are smart enough to script line flubs on purpose...

When its done in the matter it was done and on a weekly basis yes I believe the purposely had him do it. If he did it once in a wihle than thats a valid argument but weekly come on do you really think they continue to give someone who can't go a week without flubbing lines 10 to 15 minutes of microphone time? Be realistic

by the way funniest Johnny Ace moment ever
