Wade Barrett is ready to return to action and WWE officials are working on how they want to bring him back. Barrett was inline for a major push before he went down with injury several months ago and sources report that he will get that push when he returns.
No word yet if Barrett will be at Money in the Bank but the talk a few months back was that he may win the match and then challenge for the World Heavyweight Title.

While away with injury, Barrett filmed a role in WWE Studios' Dead Man Down with Colin Farrell. The movie comes out in time for WrestleMania 29 next year.

Honestly hes been missed. With all the suspensions they need every top guy they have. And Wade is a great top heel.

I have the BEST idea. He can come back as a jivin' disco dude character, The Disco Dactyl! This is a joke btw.

Honestly, I don't see anything in Wade Barrett. He's just another big guy who IMO doesn't connect with an audience as a singles guy. I liked him as the leader of Nexus, somehow they should keep him the leader of a stable. That seems to be where he belongs.

For the first time, I was really starting to like Wade prior to his unfortunate injury sustained on RAW the night after The Elimination Chamber PPV. I hope they replace his awful theme song with something better and get William Regal to be his manager. I'd really like that tandem.

Yeah adding a manager for a talker is a brilliant idea

He's a talker, but not a good one.

Yeah if you take away the fact that he can carry himself on the microphone, deliver his lines well, draw attentino from the crowd, and has an interesting voice your right he's the shit.

I've never thought he was any good on the mic. He speaks in a monotone voice for the most part and just rambles. So yeah, I don't like his mic skills.

He carried a stable on the mircophone in major angles for over 6 months, you don't do that if you suck but I guess his T-shirt wasn't the right color

Nah. His shirt was the right color... it was Cena who failed in that regard......

You can keep trying to convince me otherwise and the lame jokes, but I still think that Barrett sucks on the mic.

I don't care I'm saying he doesn't and said why, now I"m just mocking you because I know you have a formed opinion no matter what evidence is shown to you

Honestly, I think the only thing he has going for him, is he can talk. He was a good announcer in FCW, and it translated to Nexus. But, I think that's all he can do. I just think he stinks in the ring.

And you and spec have a difference of opinion, there is no "Evidence" in opinions. Your opinion isn't fact or evidence. None of ours is, if you could see that, we all could have decent conversations with you.

I have nothing against anyone who disagrees with me about Barrett's mic skills, but when you try to present your opinion as a fact and then start insulting me because I disagree with you, then you just come off as an arrogant prick.

Being a good talker doesn't matter if there isn't anything to talk about. Prior to his injury it didn't seem like there was any depth to his character at all. It basically seemed like his gimmick was just being a British guy.

I've never seen anything in him either. Never captures me at all. He isn't terrible, but just seems there.

Despite me still feeling that he's not a good talker, I did feel that he was improving in the ring. I was really getting into his in-ring development as a heel. The character he was portraying didn't have much depth to it as NOS mentioned, but he was working much better in the ring as a young mauler. His matches with Sheamus on Smackdown prior to the Rumble were good.

He's a better talker than Sheamus I dunno what WWE sees in Sheamus apart from being a big guy who has a different look than you're average joe soap

I like Sheamus more as talker. He's at least entertaining on the mic to me. I do prefer heel Sheamus promo more.

Good talker
Ok in the ring but forgettable matches, just not exciting to me.
Accentuate the positives. Downplay negatives.
tag team, manager, announcer, stable leader... i see him having a chance. I hope he improves in the ring.
Id like to watch an occasional Billy Robinson-style match. Hes not good enough.

I think Sheamus is better than Wade in pretty much every way possible. I also think he makes a better face than heel, which is rare.
