With them brining in all this new talent, they seem to be missing one of there best and brightest who seems to be going to waste doing nothing. And while there at it, if there going to pay A-riley might as well put them back together. Id rather see these two as a tag team then doing nothing at all. The Miz is a main event heel, and there short on main eventers right now. It boggles my mind.

Filming a movie I think. and yeah I want to see him back.

Well, I don't miss him. Don't people remember him being in the worst Wrestlemania main event ever? Yep, he got a concussion, but so have a whole bunch of wrestlers and pulled out better. Daniel Bryan's taken his spot, and he's over like Rover.

I'm cool with him staying gone for a while.Hes kinda looked like hes gotten lazy and lost the passion that finally made them give him the strap and was starting to become a jobber before leaving for the movie.

Wonder if they will try and bring him back as a face. For some reason, that'd catch my interest.

I dont think he lost interest, i think he got lost in a shuffle. Truth and Miz were really starting to take off, when Truth got suspended. Since then hes had trouble recovering. If there going to keep Vickie as a manager( which im not sure they are) i would have gone a diferent route. I would have let Dolph go on his own. Pick up Miz and Swagger and maybe one more guy and go that route with them. Maybe Mcntyre, lors knows he needs something.

Miz failed for three reasons

1) his character got stale

2) after the Cena feud the writers gambled on Alex Reily who clealry wasn't ready

3) He had a string of bad feuds including Awesome Truth and the feud between them.

Well the Riley experiment had failed every time. When has a lackey ever fought back and then became a superstar? Virgil anyone?>

Reily failed just because he wasn't ready, whether it was against the Miz or not any push would have failed

I agree, im just saying that idea has never worked for as long as i remmember. It works for the feud, then always dies right after.

Well you could argue Diesel was Micheals lacky, I mean I'm sure if you really sat down and thought about it there are examples that worked but I'm just to lazy to sit and think about it right now but i agree its not a huge success rate

The Awesome Truth angle was killed because right in the middle of it was when Truth got suspended. It was going well and then they had to stop it abruptly.

And I liked the Alex Riley feud, was A-Ry ready for it no, but neither is Titus O'neal or Darren Young. A-Ry was mega over at that time, the DUI obviously screwed him.

......hm I think this show Boxman a page back I knew full well the team ended then they started the storyline between Miz and Truth that doesn't cahnge the fact as I said both sides of the storyline sucked

I think A-Ry was the first wrestler I ever saw in person. I saw him at two seperate events in the space of a year in the same building. Anyway, what I was gonna say is he has natural charisma in person for sure. The people were really into him, and he was leaning into the crowd and stuff and was good with the fans. I think, and you'll laugh at me, he could've been the new John Cena, if he was built right/had a little more training. Yeah, I know Cena isn't bland, but he's not too clumsy. I think A-Ry got a rep for being clumsy.

Ok, I don't even like R-Truth, I have said that before. And I never propped it up. Fact is Truth got suspended right in the middle of that and we don't know where the angle could have gone. If you remember correctly, Truth came back as a face and feuded with Miz then.

And Alex Riley's DUI was right in the middle of his run after he was with the
Miz.

Awesome Truth was one of the best things on Raw at that time. They were great and was upset R-Truth getting suspended ruined the storyline. Also they had to face Rok/Cena everyone knew they would lose.

Again the angle was over when Truth got suspended. He was suspended the night after Survivor Series where he was "injuried" by Miz which was the basis for the feud between. Where else were you going to go with it? It wasn't over

The DUI was in the middle of him being a lackey that had nothing to do with is singles push

They suspended Evan Bourne and waited to suspend Truth, so he could finish the story-line. We have no idea if the story-line would have continued or not. The story ended quick because of Truth's suspension. It was in all the dirt-sheets, Craig even posted it, and you mentioned them being a team at the time. See topic below

And his DUI was on 11-17-2010 so you're right, it was during the time Miz was using him in matches with Cena and stuff. But a DUI is never good with a PG company, or any company for that matter.

Again considering I said the same thign I said back then which is no one gave a shit about them and it was a flop of an angle who fucking cares what they would have done. They lost to Punk and triple H and Cena and Rock and hadn't done anything of value thats a sign your angle blows.
