Following her surprise debut on last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Taryn Terrell gave an interview to SoCal Val on the Impact Post-Show talking about her joining TNA.

Taryn admitted that she was nervous, but was happy to be there.

The former WWE Diva, who competed as Tiffany, also discussed her role in a new movie, The Campaign, starring Will Ferrell. Taryn notes that while she was out of wrestling, she had taken up stunt work in movies.

Also, in perhaps an indication of her role in TNA, the official Impact Wrestling website refers to Terrell as the company’s “newest referee”. Given the current storyline with Earl Hebner and Madison Rayne, could Terrell become the official referee for Knockouts matches?

Of course, there’s always a possibility of Terrell getting into the ring herself; new Knockouts Champ, Brooke Tessmacher, started out as an assistant, for example.

They just lost 2 (maybe 3 if winter leaves) of their Knockouts. They need to replace them with someone. Why not hire someone that can already wrestle and is hot as hell? Makes sense IMO.

Ehh, she's not really a good signing. I mean I just read about her on Wrestlecrap two weeks ago. There's like a zillion other broads out there that are better.

I just said she could wrestle and she was hot, I agree there are better women wrestlers out there, but i can see where this makes sense. She already knows the business and doesn't need training like a gut check contestant.

She debuted as a special referee for a match, we don't know if it's her character yet. And I haven't said she was a good wrestler, I said she was hot and didn't need training (Otherwise, ready for TV). That's it.

And my girlfriends name is Taryn, so I may be biased. :)

- As seen on Thursday's Impact Wrestling, former WWE Diva Tiffany (Taryn Terrell) debuted for TNA. It appears she will be the permanent Knockouts referee from here on out.
