I think I've come up with a solution to this dilemma that both parties can agree on. Instead of the real Manson, you could compromise and have Bob Odenkirk on the show to do his awesome Manson impersonation. Like the one he use to do on the old Ben Stiller show. He'd be the next best thing to having the real Manson, and everybody who objects to having an actual alleged serial killer on the show would be happy. Problem solved.
