The vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Gainesville, Florida is referring to the confusion that spread among her blossoming band's fans when, earlier this year, the five-piece group signed to ubiquitous dubstep DJ SkrillexÂ?s record label, OWSLA. The deal karen millen dresses online immediately started to pay off: quickly after partnering with the EDM mixmaster, they were invited to join Skrillex and other prominent DJs, such as Diplo, on a train tour of Canada. "We were prepared for the worst," Miglis says, laughing. She admits that the band wasn't sure how dance music fans would receive an act whose most euphoric moments might be best experienced with a cup of Chamomile tea in hand. "You could see a little bit of confusion in some people's faces," she recalls. "But we were pretty pleased with the reception." But now, armed with a larger-scale record deal, itÂ?s set for a proper cheap ray ban sunglasses re-release on October 16. "That's the main reason behind re-releasing it," she states. Adds singer Sam Moss, '[Our first release] had been produced on a very small scale physically before, but nothing this wide-reaching." Much of the band's time is now spent touring alongside fellow experimental songwriter Julia Holter. But Hundred Waters contend they're constantly penning new tunes. "We're working on another album," says Miglis. "We're always working on music. Trying to work more on the road has been a learning curve. We've never worked on art so much on-the-go."
